SFJazz has arrived in Potsdam and we couldn’t be more excited!!!

After exploring the work of Ornette Coleman (2004), John Coltrane (2005), Herbie Hancock (2006), Thelonious Monk (2007), Wayne Shorter (2008), McCoy Tyner (2009) and Horace Silver (2010), the Collective takes on the material of pop music icon Stevie Wonder for 2011-2012.

In addition to the 730 show, members of the Collective will be giving a masterclass at 3pm in Wakefield Hall at the Crane School of Music, SUNY Potsdam.
Two student jazz combos will be playing for Antonio Hart, Stefon Harris, and Robin Eubanks, performing their own arrangements. The event is free and open to the public.
